Why locals love it
Name Atik Mosque got because it is one of the oldest mosques in Tuzla and the name Behram-beg's Mosque got because it is placed on the cross of the Behram-beg's Medrese and because he gave vakif (funding) to renovate. Also because of its interior, it is called Šarena.

Why you should visit it
The mosque was built on a small hill on 100 m square. Before the Great fire which was happened in 1871. year it had wooden minaret and dome. After the reconstruction in 1888. year, it was built by sturdy materials. On the ground floor it has ten windows made of decorative iron grilles. The interior is decorated with various patterns.
Special tip
If you are a woman, you need to cover your head, legs until ankles. Ask for time of prayings, you can visit it only before and after prayers.
