Behram-beg Madrasah is the oldest educational institution on North-Eastern Bosnia and Herzegovina. Madrasah on Arabic means "place of education" and like that was mainstream of Tuzla life. It was like today Universities that is today like high schools. Portal of Tuzla Madrasah today stands as historical monument of pious foundations.
