It is a grand Cathedral, actually the largest church of Northern Europe. It was built during the middle ages in the French High Gothic style. It has housed coronations of Swedish monarchs and many historic Swedish celebrities including Royals are buried in it.
There is a Cathedral Café and a Cathedral Gift Shop. During summer there are free guided tours of the Cathedral every day in Swedish and in English.
