Vreta Udd
Why locals love it
We love hiking to Vreta Udd from Vreta or Hammarskog both summer and winter. When there we sit down on the cliffs and admire the scenery before we light the fire at the barbecue to get warm and to roast our hotdogs.

Why you should visit it
It is a tranquil place at a cape in lake Ekoln surrounded by an oak and hazel woodland. If you start at Hammarskog herrgård you pass through grazing pastures where you might meet cows or sheep on your way to Vreta Udd. Please, keep to the beaten track through the Natural Reserve to avoid damage.
Special tip
Bring picnic food and remember only to start a fire at the prepared barbecue place!
