Not too crowded, small café with people behind the bar who know everything about almost every beer and whiskey they can serve you. It is a so called Dutch brown café and hardly any tourists find this place. Even locals haven't always heard of it, but don't let that last fact scare you away. The ones who do know it, love this place.

Most people who come here do that for about 20 years at least. It is a really local bar mainly filled with man playing biljart or darts. The bartenders are nice and know almost every person who comes in.

It is a small café with a big story. Kopi SuSu is Indonesian and means as much as 'mixed descent' it refers back to the collonial history of the Netherlands. Here you'll find locals from the neighborhood, nice coffee, live music, good food and an Indonesian high tea. It functions as a community center and has a lot of cultural stuff going on.

In a city with loads of pubs and bars, this one stands out. They have an amazing cocktail menu, but If you request something else, odds are they’ll know how to make it. Friendly staff who know what they’re doing.

It's friendly, very central and the choice of beers is huge – both bottled and on tap. This place is usually pretty busy, but if you like it a bit quieter, you can (if you're lucky) find a table in the back. Apart from the beers, they also serve good and affordable pub food.

As a French, I recommend a little "coin caché", a nice small bar that the locals know well.
It serves great tap beers and nice planks with hot and cold typical food: try the famous bitterballen (little hot balls served with mustard) & the Reypenaer cheese (a delicatessen in the Netherlands).
