Pub has been named after Austrian reformer with Ireland roots, whose economic reforms had a positive effect on the region, but his activities contradicted local corrupted schemes, so he was killed not far from Uzhhorod. This is almost always crowded pub with good music, beer and dishes prepared in the oven.
Why you should visit it
Atmospheric interior with brick walls, green stained-glass windows, fireplace, two halls, attractive menu and reasonable prices. Perfect spot for evening drinking, the staff here is friendly, the cuisine is tasty. It is on one of the oldest city streets though in a quiet place, in 3 minutes walking from pedestrian zone Korzo.
Special tip
In the evening it's hard to find a free table, so just call to the pub and ask to book it in advance.
