The pier is more than one hundred years old and is an important part of the history of Valparaíso, bringing the coal for the Estate Railways Company for long time. Since 2002 it was transformed in a pedestrian walk that gives great views of the amphitheatrical shape of the hills of Valparaíso and is a calm place to sit and rest.

Why you should visit it
The relaxing walk of the 230 meters long Baron Pier gives the feeling of going out of the city. Is a good place to sit to enjoy the view, the sun and the serenity. Also here you can find nautic activities like sailing.
Special tip
After the pier you can ask for the “lobos marinos” a colony of seawolf that you can see nearby the pier.
