This dome is small in size, but the fun-potential is large. This tropical dome - in the middle of not-tropical Vancouver - contains lots of plants, and birds, for you to see up close. There is even a bird identification/sighting checklist (which, if you are a child at heart/a child, will make you very happy).
If you are passing through Queen Elizabeth Park, it is worth while to go and enjoy the dome. It's a pretty quick visit, but the experience is both worthwhile and rewarding. It's a great thing to do if the weather isn't agreeing with you, but you feel like being outside.
If you buy from the gift shop, all proceeds (on my last visit) go towards maintaining the dome.
