Vancouver and sushi go hand in hand, and sushi spots are a dime a dozen. But as the saying goes, Fresh is best. While you are hard pressed to get a seat at lunch time, and if you do you wait a bit...it is worth it. Some of the best tasting and priced spicy tuna sashimi in the city is just one of the reasons Vancouver loves Fresh.
Why you should visit it
You have to have sushi while in Vancouver. It is an rule I just made up! It may not be the fanciest of places to get your sushi on, but so far it is among the best I have had. If you love tuna sashimi, you must go and try theirs. It is tops, and the spicy tuna sashimi? Even better. That paired with great prices keep this place #1 on my sushi list.
Special tip
The customer service is not great, but the food is worth it. It gets VERY busy during lunch, do go early as you can or call ahead.
