Why locals love it
The special rolls are awesome (and, Vancouverites love Special Rolls). They put great care into their food, and they're able to accommodate all sorts of diets (veg/vegan/gluten-Free). The owners are also really sweet, and they have chopsticks taped to the wall for all of the regulars!
Why you should visit it
If there were a "dish" of Vancouver, it would be sushi; you should not leave the West Coast without trying some of our sushi, and Ginger is one of the best sushi places we've found. It's family owned, friendly, and cute. It's also somewhere a lot of people would pass by, but it is worth the visit.
Special tip
Their opening hours can sometimes be a bit random, so call ahead. Try to sit by the window in summer - it can get a bit hot at the back!
