Why locals love it
The weird blend of Canadian West Coast culture and the culture of the southern American states mixed together makes Jakalope's a really weird (but, awesome) dive bar to grab a quick drink, and some pretty diverse food. The decorations are really great.
Why you should visit it
The food is delicious, and it is usually served quickly. There are lots of vegetarian, meat, vegan, and gluten-free options, and I have yet to hear anyone say they are disappointed with the food. Everything is reasonably priced.
Special tip
Be sure to use the washroom. You'll understand why after.
