Why locals love it
While Jericho Beach is nice on its own (who doesn't love beaches, that are open year round, with beautiful views?), feeding the many bunnies just adds fun (for most people?) to an already fun trip to the beach.
Why you should visit it
Feeding the bunnies is a great way to meet some friendly rabbits (it's a fairly popular pass-time for Vancouverites, so the bunnies are really friendly), but also to enjoy your trip to the beach. It's easy to visit on your way to/from UBC.
Special tip
Bring something to feed them. The bunnies will eat virtually any green vegetable, but they REALLY like apples.
