Why locals love it
The beauty of Langara's library is not well-known outside of the Langara community, but it is probably one of the nicest libraries in Vancouver. There are three floors with different noise levels; if you need silence to catch up on work, head to the third floor. If you want to chat, the first floor is fine. Plus, you can buy coffee.
Why you should visit it
There is no better place to get some of the work you accidentally brought on Vacation done than at Langara. The building is stunningly beautiful, incredibly modern, and relaxing. Note that you cannot get wifi/computers unless you're a student, but you can read books. This is also not a public library.
Special tip
Starbucks is located right beside the library. You can get your caffeine fix, and then go to work!
