Why locals love it
Metrotown is probably the mall with the most stores in the Greater Vancouver Area. That's not to say we love it, but Vancouverites will go here to finish all of their Christmas shopping, or complete their wardrobe update, in one trip. While it is technically in Burnaby, it is only a quick skytrain ride away from most places in Vancouver.
Why you should visit it
If you come from somewhere where chain stores are limited, and you like chain stores, Metrotown is where you should go. Additionally, if you come from somewhere where North American shoes are expensive, you will find what you are looking for here.
Special tip
If you drive, remember where you parked your car. Seriously, the parking lot is a vortex.
