From the decor, to the food presentation, Tatsu looks pretty fancy (especially for East Van). However, the sushi prices are roughly the same as the rest of the sushi prices in Vancouver, and the quality is also pretty high. There is a lot of nice artwork on the wall, and your food always presented really nicely.
Why you should visit it
If you want something affordable, and delicious (but, kind of fancy), Tatsu is an awesome place to go. The pictures on the wall range from nice to pretty weird, and the inside is flashy... yet inviting! The wait staff also usually speak English pretty well, and can therefore accommodate all sorts of diets.

If you're a vegetarian, be sure to tell them to be a bit careful with how they prepare the food.
