Everything is from Japan, and everything is $2. You can get virtually anything you could possibly need (and, many things you do not need at all) from Daiso. The store is huge, and filled with everything from strange toys to practical school supplies.
Why you should visit it
There are not many locations of this chain in North America (as of 2015, this is the only Canadian location), and you can load your suitcase with reasonable - and, unreasonable - souvenirs/gifts for everyone you left at home very quickly. Nobody will ever know the gift cost you only $2.
Special tip
The school supplies at Daiso are widely rumoured by all students in the Lower Mainland to be the best available (the erasers are notably desirable).
