Backas Manor is located along the historical "Kuninkaantie". Backas served as a cooperative farm for Elanto in 1900's and it is a remarkable example of the Share-movement that was big in Finland in the start of the 1900's. The farms main task is food production, but stands for more in Share-movements historical icon of our day.

Why you should visit it
The farm and the manor are it's times gem bringing Finland from tiny farm production into the mass food production era. Cooperative Elanto produced most of its food products in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area. At the area there's lots of buildings to see, the new era entering into Finland seems quite peaceful and secured, there is also a restaurant.
