Today, the riverside landscape between Tikkurila and Jokiniemi is surrounded by an urban landscape and contains plenty of newer items. Even at the Jokiniemi Agricultural Research Institute, the area is not fully representative of the rural cultural landscape, as it is systematically constructed for research purposes. Despite this, the Keravanjoki stem is a culturally significant environmental entity and an urbanly valuable area. On the area you can discover the Vantaa's Industrial History as well get into the Ancient Cultural HIstory by walking along the Keravanjoki's Trail.

The Trail travels through Keravanjoki River area of Tikkurila and Jokiniemi. The Trail area is known from the stone age settlement as well industrial buildings of the 20th century. The Finnish Science Center lies also along the way. The Trail gives an inside of the area and how has it appeared in different times of history.

The Trail is about 4 kilometers long, and most of it runs along light traffic routes. Each destination on the interactive map has a multiple choice assignments. The Vantaa City Museum, the Green Space Unit, the Environment Center and the City History Committee have participated in the implementation of the trail.
