The Helsingård was built in 1913. The Club Houses were built for non-ideological groups such as labor unions or youth and sports clubs. Helsingård was built in collaboration with Svenska Odlingens Vänner i Helsinge (SOV) and Tikkurila's Swedish Youth Association (Dickursby Ungdomsförening).
The house became an important center of cultural and entertainment life. There was also a school for small children on the premises. Svenska Odlingens Vänner sold the premises to Dickursby Ungdomsföreningen in 1918. Over the decades, Helsingård has had many activities. Today, Helsingård organizes afternoon kid's club activities.
Cultural History. Society building. History vs Today.
