This wooden mill as built in 1935. The mill itself was built by Ernst Söderling. The name of the company founded by Söderling was: Tikkurila's wheat mill, Ernst Söderling, Dickursby Vetekvarn. The mill never worked with hydropower. Initially, it was powered by an internal combustion engine, and later it was electric.
While sitting on the terrace, you can watch the beautiful river landscape or observe the riverside animals. The café organizes a variety of events, including salsa dance and stage dances. The location of the café is perfect, as it is located right in the center of Tikkurila. Heureka is also just a few minutes' walk away.
