Helsinki-Hämeenlinna railway was opened in 1862, the Korso Railway Station was built in 1889. Locally the Station was remarkable add for a tiny Korso settlement, which belonged to the Tuusula rural community at the time, the area started to develop and grow.
The Korso Station was in use until the 1910's when railways rating changed it's status as a main station along the way. The action on the station had to stop and a new station building needed to be build.
