Pyhän Laurin Church a.k.a Helsinki County Church is a medieval stone church in Vantaa. It is the oldest building in the Helsinki metropolitan area and the main church of the Tikkurila parish. Build in the middle of the 15th century the church and it's surroundings are the best preserved historical village district in Southern Finland.
The church was badly burned in 1893 and after the burn down, the church was restored from the ruins, into the Gothic styled Church. It was also around when the historical "Kuninkaantie" was in use, might have offered a nightstay for the travellers on the road.
