After the Basilica di San Marco, this is the most important in Venice, a big Gotic church built by Franciscan friars. The interior is enormous and includes an high quality of works and art, including masterpieces by Tiziano and Giovanni Bellini, more than a statue by Donatello.

In this church take place the tomb of Canova, a Neo-Classical marble pyramid and many other funerary monuments and sculptures made by the most important italian sculptors, as for example Jacopo della Quercia and Jacopo Tatti, called Sansovino.
You have to pay a 3 € ticket to visit the interior of the Basilica.
