The San Samuele nieghborhood is well known for the numerous art galleries and handcraft shops. It is located near campo Santo Stefano, in the Calle delle Botteghe, once a very popular area among the Germans who were mainly “calegheri” (cobblers).

Why you should visit it
This area is a good place to buy a sought after present, something unique, a piece of fine art. While walking around you cannot miss to stop and have a look inside of the Kleine Galerie. The small art gallery sells antique, porcelains, old Venetian prints and rare books.
Special tip
Ask the owner to show you some old Venetian prints, he has got some really nice at a reasonable price for antiques.
