Traveling from Giudecca to Venice

Hello there! :)
My friend and I arrive in Venice on the 6th and we stay until the 9th of September. We will be staying in the Giudecca Island and we would like to travel to the main island, but also to Burano and some of the other islands which would include a lot of transportation, we would like to see as much as possible of the whole city and we don't mind skipping main attractions and monuments.

What would you suggest?
Would it be cheaper to buy a city pass for 3 days?
How much would it be to daily travel from Giudecca to Venice's main island?

Thank you!

Hi Ana!
I live in Giudecca, Great choice! I would suggest you to buy a pass for the public transportation. You can easily find all the info on the website http://actv.avmspa.it/en... From Giudecca Palanca you can reach Zattere in 2 minutes with line 2 and San Zaccaria (San Marco) in abt 10/15 min with line 2 or 4.2. You can reach Murano from Giudecca with line 4.2 and from there line 12 to Burano. My suggestion would though to get off in San Zaccaria and reach Fondamenta Nove walking and from there catch line 12 to Murano and Burano. Enjoy Venice!

Pass is great from Giudecca to Venice island- Dorsoduro district is just across Giudecca canal so 5 min.
To Venice ‘s main attractions E.g. St. Mark’s square it depends on the line but approx 10/15 min
