I booked the boat tour to the Islands and my booking was confirmed by email, with the date, time + meeting point. When I arrived at the meeting point, there was no one. I called and was told that my excursion had been cancelled by mistake and rescheduled the following day, As I was in Venice for work and only had one free day, I was crished because I was not available to reschedule. I was offered a full refund and a free walking tour, in compensation of the cancelled boat tour. Though the evening walk tour was very nice, I am still waiting for the refund that was promised and I have been told that due to the absence of response of the client assistance at Like a Local, I cannot be paid back. I don't know if this is an excuse not to pay me back or if it's true, but in any case the situation is very frustrating and I do not recommend to book tours with this provider.
