Victoria's Chinatown peaked in 1911 and is now a National Historic Site of Canada. Chinatown is famous for having the smallest street in Canada, Fan Tan Alley, which is just 35 inches wide at it's smallest point.

Why you should visit it

Take a little break from downtown Victoria an immerse yourself in in Chinese culture. Try some Chinese cuisine and peak in the colourful shops. There are plenty of places to buy typical tourist souvenirs as well as some other funky trinkets.
