Rain or sine there will always be locals hiking around the beautiful paths of Mt Doug. There is an abundance of wildflowers, Douglas Fir, and Cedar trees. In addition to the mountain there is also Mt.Douglas Beach right below which is a favourite in the summer time. There is also a road up to the top so you can see the city light up at night.

Why you should visit it
Get your daily exercise in and hilk through one of the many paths Mt. Doug has to offer. When you get to the top your breath will be taken away with a beautiful view of the city surrounded by the Pacific Ocean. You will also see magnificent views of the Olympic and Cascade Mountains.
