Why locals love it
If you like walking, hiking or running in forested areas – and especially if you have a dog that needs off-leash exercise, this is the spot to go. And in summers the lake is a comfortable temperature for swimming and popular with families. The forested trails always smell wonderful.
Special tip
Very safe, but don't go too early on Summer mornings (camping is prohibited but some people still sleep rough there and leave early).
