This coffee house is one of the most wonderful decorated and astonishing houses of Vienna. It beholdes its charme for the last three centuries. It is not crowded with tourists like most other coffee shops in Vienna, especially the ones in the first district. Back in the 18th century concubines looked after the well-being for the male visitors.

Why you should visit it
One of Vienna's cultural sights is the long tradition of cafés. But most of the local cafés are overrated, overpriced and crowded with people. This is one is not yet another tourist trap. The clientel consists mainly of literates, the LGBT scene and locals.
