museum for the works
of Klimt & Schiele.
Leopold Museum12
Why locals love it
The Leopold museum was stocked by the collection of Rudold Leopold, Austrian art patron. During the last century he collected works of Austrian expressionist Egon Schiele, Gustav Klimt, and many other modern art painters. Since 2001 his collection is open to public in the Leopold museum and became increasingly popular over the last decade.

Why you should visit it
The museum loses its stiffness when it comes to temporary exhibitions; having made quite a furor with its exhibition about naked men. The museum is also of architectoral interest. The design is very open with a large inner court and holes in the floor connecting the floors with each other.
Special tip
Recommendable: The great panorama window on the 4th floor. Great view over the city.
