We went on a day trip to Salzburg from Vienna during the advent season. Our host and driver was Peter, one of the owners. The entire experience was one we will never forget. Peter was a consummate professional, while being very personable, friendly, and lots of fun. He knows so much about geography, history, culture. We are naturally curious and he happily entertained our endless questions for 14 hours. He took us to the best locations in Salzburg, the most awesome Christmas Market in Austria at St. Wolfgang. White Alligator might be a newer company, but they are highly professional, knowledgeable, and very motivated. It was just my wife and me with Peter on this trip. It is so wonderful having a personal guide and companion to make the most out of your travel time and experience. Thank you so much, Peter!

This tour will take you through the gorgeous Vienna Woods, where you’ll see some of the peaks of the Austrian Alps.
Before arriving in Salzburg, you’ll make several stops in the Lake Region, well known for the celebrated film The Sound of Music. Experience the uniqueness of St Gilgen, the tiny village where Mozart’s mother was born.
Upon arrival in Salzburg, you’ll be joined by a local guide who’ll take you on a comprehensive walking tour of the most remarkable landmarks in the city. You’ll visit the Mirabell Gardens, Salzburg Cathedral, and St Peter's Abbey, and see the house where Mozart was born.
After your walking tour, you’ll have some free time to explore.
Next, sit back and relax during the drive to St Wolfgang, where you’ll find one of the most beautiful Christmas markets in Austria.
The village is a winter wonderland, hosting more than 60 Christmas cabins offering a wide selection of handicrafts. Discover the streets of St Wolfgang while enjoying the famous Christmas punch, and nibbling on the local stollen, roasted almonds, and roasted chestnuts.
At the end of the day you’ll be driven back to Vienna and dropped off at your hotel.
