The trip from Vienna to Budapest was awesome! Our guide Andrea was the best: extremely nice, knowledgeable and fun! She provided us with great information during the whole trip, and was even very considerate and always gave me some time to translate what she said to my 80-year old father (with whom she was also extremely kind and patient). The places we visited were very interesting, and we definitely would not have had the chance to see them, had we chosen the traditional bus/train/plane. I would recommend this kind of tour to anyone who has to travel from one city to another and wants to make the most of it! Five stars to the tour as a whole, and six stars to Andrea, who, besides being a very professional guide, is such a kind-hearted person that, upon arriving in Budapest and seeing we were having some difficulties finding our address there, went out of her way and walked us to the door of our apartment. Thanks, Andrea! All the best to you!

Don't hesitate to take this magical mystery minibus tour
The guides were fun and interesting, and we saw all sorts of things we never would have encountered on our own, plus learned some history. We don't usually do tours as we like a bit of adventure and independence; even if you are like us, but want a fun, interesting way to get between Vienna and Budapest, don't hesitate to take this magical mystery minibus tour. We're glad we did.

Fantastic experience
If you are traveling around the Europe, this is the perfect way to move from one city to another. I was so happy to see some sites outside of the capital cities. The nice thing too is that you can use the time in the van as you like; you can sleep, read, stare at the passing fields, or talk with your fellow travelers. I am happy to say that it was also a great and easy way to meet some wonderful people from other places. I highly recommend this tour.

Excellent day trip from Vienna to Budapest
What a great way to travel between Vienna and Budapest! We got to see some very charming Hungarian towns, totally off the beaten track and unlikely that we would have visited on our own. Our guide Noemi was very knowledgeable and keen to show us all the sights at each stop. The driver too was courteous, the vehicle comfortable. A great trip - for just a couple of hours add on to the regular commute between the two cities you get to see some real hidden gems in the Hungarian country side.

Great Casual and Relaxed Trip
My husband and I took this trip from Vienna to Prague in September with Jacob. Our host was excellent, local, and knowledgable! He brought us to great locations and was a thoughtful tour guide. The tour was much smaller then I expected; there were only 6 of us and we shared a large comfy van together. Look carefully, the stops from Prague to Vienna are not the same as Vienna to Prague. I didn't realize this when I looked. As such as the stops were a surprise to me. They were all beautiful and relaxing. This trip is not overly exciting, but it was nice to share travel stories, eat some good and cheap food, and see the countryside. We liked it as a down day from our otherwise busy trip. We liked it as an alternative travel day to train travel.
A perfect road trip to Prague
We had an amazing 10-hour one-way driving tour from Berlin to Prague. We stopped in places most international tourists don’t find. We learned so much from our wonderful, friendly, knowledgeable and funny tour guide, Sarka. She kept us entertained the entire time while safely getting us there in a comfortable van/minibus. And she gave us so much information, we were more than ready to explore Prague on our own.I would highly recommend this tour! We're looking now at the other Side Trip Tours to figure out which ones we can do.

Feel the country, guided by an enthusiastic local!
Everything that is in the description on the website is true! The bus was there on time, there was room for luggage and ... it was comfy to ride in! Our guide was just amazing. You just had to like her from the beginning. She easily connected with all the guests and really made the people see the country. Even though the weather changed between light and heavy rain during the day, she was our sunshine on this day! We can highly recommend taking this trip!
