The trip from Vienna to Budapest was awesome! Our guide Andrea was the best: extremely nice, knowledgeable and fun! She provided us with great information during the whole trip, and was even very considerate and always gave me some time to translate what she said to my 80-year old father (with whom she was also extremely kind and patient). The places we visited were very interesting, and we definitely would not have had the chance to see them, had we chosen the traditional bus/train/plane. I would recommend this kind of tour to anyone who has to travel from one city to another and wants to make the most of it! Five stars to the tour as a whole, and six stars to Andrea, who, besides being a very professional guide, is such a kind-hearted person that, upon arriving in Budapest and seeing we were having some difficulties finding our address there, went out of her way and walked us to the door of our apartment. Thanks, Andrea! All the best to you!

Don't hesitate to take this magical mystery minibus tour
The guides were fun and interesting, and we saw all sorts of things we never would have encountered on our own, plus learned some history. We don't usually do tours as we like a bit of adventure and independence; even if you are like us, but want a fun, interesting way to get between Vienna and Budapest, don't hesitate to take this magical mystery minibus tour. We're glad we did.

Fantastic experience
If you are traveling around the Europe, this is the perfect way to move from one city to another. I was so happy to see some sites outside of the capital cities. The nice thing too is that you can use the time in the van as you like; you can sleep, read, stare at the passing fields, or talk with your fellow travelers. I am happy to say that it was also a great and easy way to meet some wonderful people from other places. I highly recommend this tour.

Excellent day trip from Vienna to Budapest
What a great way to travel between Vienna and Budapest! We got to see some very charming Hungarian towns, totally off the beaten track and unlikely that we would have visited on our own. Our guide Noemi was very knowledgeable and keen to show us all the sights at each stop. The driver too was courteous, the vehicle comfortable. A great trip - for just a couple of hours add on to the regular commute between the two cities you get to see some real hidden gems in the Hungarian country side.

Exploring unknown places Hungary and Slovakia with great company
This trip gave us the possibility to learn new places of Hungary and Slovakia, mostly not described in your typical guidebook. Our guide was a very friendly and enthusiastic person, who gave us very good instructional and sometimes funny explanations of the monuments and places.

Fantastic
I'm sorry I cannot remember the young guides name but she was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about her country. We were one of the first tours she had taken on this trip She could answer all questions. We went to a small city that had a fort and an area with many different types of architecture but it could have been left off the tour.

Budapest to Bratislava
We had an excellent guide. Her knowledge of the history of the area is incredible. She spoke very good English and kept us all engaged. Would highly recommend this trip.

Great way to get from Budapest to Vienna
This was the first Side Trip for me and my wife. Were we looking for a way to get from Budapest to Vienna and see some of the sights in between. Side Trips was the perfect choice. They met us at the pickup location with a nice minivan, tour guide, and driver. Besides me and my wife, there were 3 other guests. The minivan was very roomy and comfortable. We made 4 stops on the way to Vienna. All of these stops were to quaint little towns off the beaten path that had few tourists but were very quaint with scenic views and interesting history. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. The driver seemed to be a good driver who would drop us off near a good starting point then go park somewhere until called by the guide. It was everything we were looking for. We will certainly use Side Trips again.

Fabulous way to get from Budapest to Vienna off the beaten path!!
We wanted to travel from Budapest to Vienna but wanted to see more along the way than a train would have allowed. Our lovely day trip with our guide Noemi and driver Noah was the perfect solution! They were both professional and very accommodating. Noemi was well informed and happy to answer all our questions. I would recommend this trip for anyone who wants to take the road less traveled and see more along the way. It was a good value for the price!!
