Why locals love it
The Castros are a very typical construction of the Celtas, first occupants of Galiza. They used to build their houses on the top of hills and there are a few Castros spread in Galiza. This one is specially interesting because it's located into the biggest city in Galiza, so you can enjoy the view of almost the whole city.
Why you should visit it
You can learn a little bit about the first occupants of Galiza while enjoying the most beautiful view of Vigo. There are still some ruins of the old Celtas' houses, with high historical value. In the way to the top you can see locals enjoying the park.
Special tip
The way to the top by walking is not the easiest one. You can also access the Castro by car, although that's not the way Celtas used to access it.
