If you want to go to the old town, I'd say the best way is to take bus 88. It will get you straight to Vilnius town hall. You can check the schedule at www.vilniustransport.lt

The train will take you to the main train station, it's just a 7 min ride. From the station it's about 10-15 min walk to get to the old town. It desn't go that often, though.

Either way, at the exit of the airport you will see a screen with public transport schedules from the airport to Vilnius :)

Hi, it's definitely the bus. Depending on where you need to go, there is bus 3G and 88 (pls check the timetable and itinerary on vilniustransport.lt, there is a version in English). Airport is Oro uostas in LT.
One way ticket (sold in the bus by the bus driver) costs 1 €.

Dear Javi,
the airport is just 10 min from the city center.
please use Uber (up to 8-10 EUR to the city center) or bus. It is not recommended to take taxi from the airport as they overcharge (15-20 eur).
the train is also possible but it takes time to wait for it and you will still have to change to the public transport at the train station.
i hope it helps.

Just took Taxify app and ride from airport to old town costs 4.8 Euros. They are biggest ride-hailing app in Vilnius.

We got the shuttle bus which is direct and is just outside the arrivals hall and cost 1 euro. Runs ever 20 minutes and takes around 10 minutes to city. Only stops at bus terminal though which is across the road from main station.

You can use a train to reach station. From there it is easy to reach all other places. Train is cheap and fast.

Hey, Javi!
Actually, both train and bus ir very convienent, the problem is the train does not depart so often as the bus. But with train it's 7-8minutes to the main station, which is where you can catch every other bus, but the old town is a 10minutes walk from the main station :)
The buses are 1 and 2 from the airport and arrive also at the main station. www.trafi.lt here you can find very clear the buses schedule, and here www.traukiniobilietas.lt the train schedule.

I would recommend the train, since it's faster, but if the timetable is not convenient then the bus is also a good choice.
