Highly recommended!
It really nicely surprised me and my friend! Our guide Arminas told many interesting facts and everything with a dose of humor. He combined many topics, such as historical, political, statistical, funny and ironic ones - and everything mixed with his own perspective and appropriate attitude. Those few hours were just fantastic, and we saw some places, even not every local knows. Arminas's english is very fluent, and he is very kind and interesting person - you can discuss about everything with him!
You definitely should try this walk!

Great introduction to local food and culture
We thoroughly enjoyed our food tour with Ieva, who collected us promptly from our hotel reception as arranged. Ieva is enthusiastic about Vilnius, and delightful company. She took us to places we would never have found, and introduced us to food we would never have tried otherwise. The small organic grocery shop where we started with traditional ‘nibbles’ was unidentifiable from the outside. We also tried a boletus soup in dark rye bread bowl which was delicious, zeppelins and then walked to the newer part of the city to Dzugas to try cheese in a variety of ways -as hard cheese, in icecream, cheesecake, and cheese bars covered in chocolate.
Walking between the various places gave us time to digest the food, and sitting with Ieva at each place was a delight as she shared stories of her family traditions.
Food Tour - excellent and unusual food, glad I did the tour
I did this food tour my 2nd day in Vilnius, and was extremely pleased with the tour. I've done a lot of food tours, and while they are never bad, some are certainly better than others, and this was one I will remember.

We had a lot of delicious and interesting food. Much of the food would not be things I would have ordered on my own, and I wasn't expecting to enjoy it as much as I did.

The tour started with little tastes of interesting local and historical things with stories of why these foods came to be popular or associated with Lithuania.

We had cold beet soup with potatoes (which I thought would be OK, but was actually amazing)

We had the zeppelin shaped potato dumpling filled with meat and topped with sour cream and learned how it came to be the national dish

Tried some local beer and fried bread

Finally, some Dione (local brand) of ice cream that had shredded cheese (which is also a local delicacy).

Honestly, none of this food sounds very good, but it was so delicious and interesting! Super glad I came on this tour, and I highly recommend it! Great introduction to Lithuania and Vilnius.
Lots of good info about Vilnius and great food
Very interesting tour, and the guide was very knowladgeble, an increadible amount of info during the 3 hours.
Thank you Rami
Don't expect loads of food on this tour but if you're lucky enough to have Rami as a guide you'll have a good time. She's very informative, entertaining and fun to be with showing you around 5 different places to eat and drink. Food and drink is excellent and staff looked after us. Thanks Rami!!
Experience a Beautiful City in Good Company
I went on two tours with this company, 'Soviet Vilnius' and the 'Food Tour'. The guides were exceptional - well-informed, good-humoured and good company. Their tours are fairly priced and I would recommend the company to tourists who want more from their visit than looking out a bus window and want to connect with the place and the people.
Just do it!
We went on the Food Tour. It was a small group, just the four in our party plus a single traveler. Our Guide, Remy, was wonderful. She was very knowledgeable about the food and history of Vilnius. We went to 6 places, each different than the others, and sampled a great variety of food and drink. We ate some good and some really delicious food, had great conversations and laughed a lot. Cannot say enough good things about this tour! Do it!
Amazing Vilnius food tour
We genuinely loved this Vilnius food tour. Our great guide met us in a cold January afternoon and took us to 5 cozy places where we could enjoy the great local cuisine. The second place where we had soup was my favourite, we came back there the next day for dinner. Thanks for a great afternoon!
Tasty food and good company
I had a good time with 'Vilnius with locals'. I had an opportunity to taste Lithuanian food within a friendly company! Highly recommend to visit food tour:)
