Why locals love it

The name of the shop, "Pan tu nie stał" ("you didn't stand here, mister") reminds us of the reality during the Communism times where hardly anything was available and things that everyone had became kind of epic. Now the shop sells all these products that everyone love and wear.

Why you should visit it

If you're looking for a quirky, unique souvenir from Warsaw then you shouldn't look any further. Here you can get the items that resemble our reality 30 or so years ago: funky clothes, vintage compote cups, original accessories. I bet you won't find these kind of things anywhere else!

To be more exact „Pan tu nie stał” is from city of Łódź, in the centre of the country just one and a half hours of train ride from Warsaw. Łódź is known for its murals and famous film school which educated in between others Andrzej Wajda and Roman Polański, Łódź has become the hipster of Poland. Coming back to the souvenirs, I do love their jewellery and cloths, both high quality and beautiful! Though might get a bit pricy.
