I joined the tour in August. The first impression was very good because they drove a vintage car to take us to travel around the main sights in Warsaw. You can't miss the private museum that is amazing that we can't find in Hong Kong. Last but not lease was the guide took us to the Milk Bar, Polish form of the cafeteria and serving Polish traditional food restaurant to have our lunch. Not only there was a plentiful supply of food, but also the guide didn't mind to order the spaghetti with milk as my additional request and he didn't need me to pay more. He was very nice and generous, I am sorry that I forgot his name but you can find him in the photo, the man who wore a green polo shirt.
The only comment is the tour was quite hurry because there were only 3 to 3.5 hours, but for the quick look of Warsaw is enough.

You will know the history of the symbol of Warsaw, the Palace of Culture and Science, which was created on the sea of post war ruin. You will see the utopian architectural ideas of the communist authorities - the Party House of People's Republic of Poland and the Ministry of Agriculture. You will go to Plac Konstytucji (Constitution Square) to get to know the MDM (Marszalkowska Residential District) designed to fit the communist ideology. At the end, we will visit the only such place in Warsaw - Museum of Life Under Communism. Informative and interesting tour
Great trip through the Polish communist era
Thanks to Warsaw adventures and our excellent guide ‘Lucas’ we had a wonderful tour around Warsaw including the trip to the Communist museum and lunch at a Milk kitchen. It was a great way to visit places that we would not have seen otherwise.
A great four hours with a fantastic guide
Myself and the wife booked this a few days before our arrival in Warsaw and all emails were answered very quickly, just what you want.

On the day of our trip we were met by Mariusz and straight into the van. Our first stop was only about five minutes away and striaght away you knew this person was very knowledgeable and obviously proud of Warsaw.

Instead of just firing information at you he set most things out as a question encouraging us to guess the answers (sometimes our answers were way out ), this helped to get people involved.

The trip is made up of several stops throughout the day (including an old Warsaw street which has half been renovated, a small mock up of an old Polish communist apartment etc).

Our final stop was at a milk bar, these were apparently popular during communist times and unless you speak Polish are difficult to navigate in English so Mariusz orders a sort of tasting menu, some parts tasted better than others.

A good way to see the city and if booked early on your trip you get to know places that you would probably have never noticed, we returned to a couple of the places over the next few days.

Highly recommended. Thanks Mariusz
Educational and fun tour around communist WAW
We rode around the city center in a Nysa bus and visited several communist locations and had a great traditional polish milk bar lunch at the end of the your. Very educated and engaged tour leaders who brought alot of positivity.
well organized and they even fixed vegan and vegetarian options during lunch ( which is hard in this traditional type pf polish cuisine)
Would recommend for everyone!
Superb tour, informative and fun
We had a great time on this tour, the drivers are good guys and the guide was knowledgeable and passionate about Poland. We got loads more than we expected from the trip and I would recommend to anyone who would like to know more about this great city.

We really enjoyed the tour and the guide Mario was very competent and funny. We would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone that wants to discover spots of Warsaw a normal tourist wouldn't visit.
Fascinating tour!
This was a fascinating tour of Warsaw from the perspective of life in the city during the communist period. Our tour guide was Martin and despite being too young to remember anything from the communist period personally he was very knowledgeable. Martin started the tour by referring back to the Nazi period and explaining how the communists took control of Poland at the end of World War 2. We then visited several locations around the city representing important landmarks from the communist period, including having a light lunch in one of Warsaw's famous "milk" bars -- don't worry, the end of the tour in the Museum Of Communist Life included a shot (or two) of vodka. We really enjoyed this tour and would recommend it to anyone who wants an alternative perspective on Warsaw.
Thanks to our guides (Tomek en Mario), the communist tour was amazing. Learned somthing about the Polish culture, drank some wodka shots and enjoyed the driving style of our two guides. In short the best way to see something else than the standard touristic Warsaw parts!
The communism tour was a great tour...took us to some really interesting parts of the city, that we would never have found on hour own. Our guide was friendly, interesting and informative...and the transport had "character". A great fun day- would highly recommend
