Awesome tour!
A tour in a Nysa van is a great idea, you can really feel the atmosphere of the past. Our guide Kasia was amazing, she knows everything about the city and has many small sidestories, which make you really interested in the history of the city. It was great fun, really worth it and I would recommend it to everyone who is looking for a really original tour. I wish there was a tour like this in every interesting place in the world cause it really makes you fall in love with the place. Great job guys!

Quick and fun way to tour the center of Warsaw
I knew I could ride a bike, theoretically, but never actually used it to ride in a city.
What I noticed about Warsaw after spending a couple of days here is that it is a very friendly city for cyclists, safe and adapted for riding. This is why I decided to give it a try and had a very interesting tour across the historical part of the city.
The 3-hour tour will take you to the main landmarks and streets, through parks that have their own stories, to a place with popular cafes and to the bank of Wisła with a wonderful view. The pace of riding was quite easy for me as a beginner. The only hard part was to ride up the hill at the end of the tour, so I rode half the hill and went up by foot the other half. This tour was the highlight of my week in Warsaw, and I'm very glad I found it on this website.

Fantastic Tour
What a great way to see Warsaw! The Nysa van is a novelty and definitely not the most comfortable but all the same a cool way to drive through the streets of the city. Artur was our guide and was fantastic, he was so knowledgable and made the day very fun! I would highly recommend for anyone looking to learn a bit more, Warsaw is so big and we wouldn’t of gotten to everything had we tried ourselves. It’s a gem!!

Great time exploring Warsaw and drinking vodka
We had a wonderful time with Paweł exploring Warsaw and getting around in the Fiat. This was the ideal way to explore the city as soon as we got there, to get our bearings and to get out and see a lot in a fairly short period of time. Pawel knew a ton about the city and we enjoyed just spending the time driving around together, learning some history and drinking vodka throughout.
Warsaw Must-Sees Tour in a Retro Fiat
excellent guide
we had Lukas as our guide and his knowledge, wit and sense of fun made it a very enjoyable and different way to see a part of the city I normally would not notice. I highly recommend this tour. The busses are great fun and you get to know your fellow group members very quickly.

A tale of Poland’s quirky history ...
Although themed as a tour of Poland’s Communist past, it turned out to be far more than that. A thee-plus hour potted history of the country’s yesteryear, triumphant and tragic by turns, never dull or uninspiring. The story of daily life under the Communist regime was particularly amusing, but behind the smiles lay the misfortunes of a country that has seemingly never ceased to suffer. The lamentable treatment of the Jews and minorities in WWII, the Warsaw Ghetto, the Nazis, the futile and costly wartime uprisings against tyranny, the Soviets, all culminating in the rise and fall of Communism. And then, after the Communists were sent packing in the late-80s, a palpable sense of hope for Poland’s future as a proud, independent member of the European family. The history of a country covered with humility, respect, not to mention a great sense of humour. I enjoyed the tour very much.

Fabulous experience!
Our train was arriving before our hostel check in but Maria was totally fine with us bringing our luggage, and that set the mood with how incredible she was throughout our whole experience.
We had such a blast! She was informative, casual & really knowledgeable about pierogis! She taught us her grandmothers recipe and let us put our own spin on it (I did a lentil filling with dill flavoured dough; my partner did a beef filling with a paprika flavoured dough). She taught us different techniques on how to fold the dough to give each dumpling its own personality. She taught us how to properly cook, store & recook for when we make them at home. And she also gave us a mini tasting of some local spirits (I forget what they’re called - but they were delicious and paired so nice with our pierogis)!
10/10 would recommend anyone to take this class. Thank you Maria !!!

Awesome Tour and Guide!!
I completely recommend taking this tour whilst in Warsaw. Not only was it great fun driving around in our little blue Fiat 126 but our guide and host, Konrad was exceptional. He must of completed this tour with customers hundreds of times but you never got that feeling. He was engaging, funny and so enthusiastic towards the knowledge he offered whilst we were visiting each site. It's not often that learning about history is so much fun but this was and that's down to Konrad.
The Milk bar we stopped in was also a great experience to hear about how they started and got to taste some traditional pierogi which I have to say was very tasty!
Overall, if your uncertain about paying for this trip then don't hesitate and just book it as you'll be certain to enjoy it!!
Thanks Konrad and thanks Warsaw for such and amazing experience.

How do you make a cold and snowy Monday morning enjoyable, informative and fun? Book Mario as your guide for a tour of Warsaw with this company!

He was very amiable and made the group feel like friends from the word go. The van was definitely an authentic 'bone shaker' but that just added to the journey in my opinion.

Mario was incredibly knowledgeable about Poland and its history, spoke excellent English and you could tell he had a thirst for good discussion (we even spoke about current affairs related to Poland!).

I would highly recommended this company and the unique spin placed on the tour - off the beaten track, with a guide who has an amazing library of information, lunch in a REAL Polish milk bar (we ate with the locals), and a ride in an original communist vehicle. A fabulous day, fantastic vfm.

We were picked up by the guide Mariusz in the old communist van, and to have a drive in that was an amazing experience in itself. Apart from that our guide was a person with an incredible knowledge about Warsaw, Poland and able to answer all of our many questions. His good sense of humour also added some spices to the tour. I have often heard firms claiming that what they do is untraditional, but it this case it REALLY was very untraditional and worth all the money. All the interesting stories and anecdotes you hear and the interesting places you see, and the authentic food you get which is actually real tasty. This is definitely a tour we will always remember for the good. I had never expected it to be SO interesting as it turned out to be. Try it, you wont regret it. Dont miss this experience.

Great introduction to Warsaw
Myself and two friends wanted to spend our first day in Warsaw getting an idea of its layout and learn some interesting facts about the city. This was the perfect tour. Our guide Lukasz was great - very polite, friendly and full of energy and knowledge. The weather was pretty grim - cold, windy with rain and snow and the vintage van really gave you an idea of how it must have been for people back in the 70's and 80's when vehicles didn't have any of today's mod cons. The tour itself was interesting and well paced and the lunch stop was perfect. The little museum of communist life was a nice addition - lots of trinkets and objects that people would have used in their everyday lives. I recommend the tour if you've not been to Warsaw before and want to spend a few hours getting to know the place.

Fantastic Class - Maria is wonderful!
My three daughters and I wanted to learn how to make some popular Polish food but without the longer 3-4 hour classes that are offered. Maria's pierogi class was perfect! We had six people in our English speaking class and it was from 10 am - 12 pm. She holds the class in a large room in her restaurant and has everything ready for you. Be ready to knead, roll, and cut dough; prepare various types of filling; and finally, she teaches you different patterns you can make while forming your pierogi. Of course, you get to taste them when you are finished cooking them! My daughters can't wait to return to the U.S. so we can make these at home. We made so many pierogi with Maria that we brought several back to our AirBnB to eat later. I Definitely recommend this experience!

Wonderful and informative food tour with Agata
We booked a food and vodka tour with Eat Polska in Warsaw. We met our guide Agata at a convenient spot on Nowy Swiat, and were off visiting a local shop for a variety of sausages and hams, then a vegan restaurant (our first ever) which was interesting and better than we expected, then a very nice traditional restaurant for vodka and traditional soups, and then a Polish fusion restaurant (Bibenda) which was awesome. We were so full we had trouble eating the pastrty at the bakery where the tour ended. Agata was great, providing a history lesson on Polish cuisine along the way. Highly recommend this tour, and you won't want dinner after you're done!!

Warsaw Must See Tour
This was just what we were looking for!!! Let's deal with the facts: 4 hours, hotel pick up, roughly 40 euros per person, traditional polish lunch included, incredibly knowledgeable tour guides, vodka shots - what more could you want from a city tour! Konrad and Ralph were just awesome - we visited some key areas of Warsaw that we would not otherwise have seen and all can away w bags more knowledge about Warsaw's history than we turned up with. The cars are a real novelty and really add to the experience of delving into Warsaw's communist past. We cannot thank you guys enough - it really made our trip!

Fantastic few hours
Our guide Simon was absolutely fabulous. He picked us up promptly and the car was great fun. Simons knowledge of the history of Poland and Warsaw was outstanding and his passion for his city and country was very evident. He exceeded his duties as a tour guide he came very prepared with pictures of the historical buildings pre the war. We saw all the sites and more. He educated us not only on the history but the way of life of locals. He was very patient answering all of our questions. He is a great ambassador not only for his company but for his country. We had a fabulous time.

Great tour, good value
This tour was a highlight of our short stay in Warsaw. Our guide Mariusz was engaging and had an impish sense of humor. His knowledge of history and first-hand accounts of living through the Communist era were fascinating and we came away with not only a greater appreciation of Poland but with a desire to return and explore more of the country.

I recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see the 'real' Warsaw and gain some insight into its history and culture. It was also a lot of fun and great value for money. If you're going to Warsaw, book this tour, you won't be sorry.

Great way to see Warsaw
We did the 4 hr off the beaten track experience on Friday morning after arriving on Thursday. Our guide was very informative and helped us to understand anything we wanted to know about Warsaw and Poland.
The trip covers so many parts of the city that you would not find in a tourist book and the history behind everything is fascinating.
Lunch in a milk bar was definitely an experience we would not have done if not for the trip. And it was worth it!!! The food was amazing local cuisine and the value was incredible.
All in all a very good trip in a retro bus :)
Thank you!

Great tour to learn about the history of the Jewish people of Poland
Marcin picked us up from the hotel and took us on a very thorough and well informed tour focusing on the Jewish history in Poland during WW II. We went to the few remaining homes inner courtyards where we could truly imagine the life of people as the ghetto became more and more crowded. Then we went to the many memorials and landmarks and finally to the cemetery. All the while Marcin was showing us pictures he brought with him and giving us thorough explanations. I would highly recommend this tour. Such a powerful telling of the Jewish people's struggle for survival.
