Good Evening Bike Tour of Warsaw

The night bike tour of Warsaw was a winner. The guide Gawel was fantasic with just the right amount of information and touring. Visited interesting parts of the city you would not normally see. Much better to do this bike ride at night in summer without the sun. Enjoy the lights instead.

I was only in Warsaw for a couple of days on a conference so had limited time to 'see the sights'. The 'Warsaw by Night' cycle tour enabled us to see ~15kms of the city including so many places that we would never have found or come across otherwise. Our local tour guide was fab - his English was fluent and he was very friendly and welcoming. He gave us just about the right amount of information about Warsaw city life, culture and history --- all really really interesting (not at all boring to a non historian like myself). Highlights included cycling round the big parks, seeing the illuminated fountains and gas lanterns, cycling along the lit up royal route and seeing the beautiful view over the city from one of the bridges (we had a gorgeous sunset too which helped!) - we also saw the lit up football stadium. We stopped plenty of times (so good for photo opportunities) and (unlike other city cycle tours I’ve been on where distances could have been walked) this tour actually felt like a proper bike ride round a city with so much to see en route. Bikes were comfortable and in good condition – although it took a little while for me to get used to the back pedal braking! Overall, I would definitely definitely recommend this cycle tour to anyone visiting Warsaw who can / wants to ride a bike. I just wish I had had more time to do other cycle tours in different areas --- will definitely do if I return to Warsaw.

This tour was a fantastic way to see Warsaw. Michal is very knowledgeable about his city and was able to teach us a lot in a short period of time. If you only have a few free hours in Warsaw, I highly recommend this tour as a great way to cover the major sites (and have fun doing so)!
