Polish Dumplings Cooking Class lunch & liqueur tasting included

My three daughters and I wanted to learn how to make some popular Polish food but without the longer 3-4 hour classes that are offered. Maria's pierogi class was perfect! We had six people in our English speaking class and it was from 10 am - 12 pm. She holds the class in a large room in her restaurant and has everything ready for you. Be ready to knead, roll, and cut dough; prepare various types of filling; and finally, she teaches you different patterns you can make while forming your pierogi. Of course, you get to taste them when you are finished cooking them! My daughters can't wait to return to the U.S. so we can make these at home. We made so many pierogi with Maria that we brought several back to our AirBnB to eat later. I Definitely recommend this experience!

Our train was arriving before our hostel check in but Maria was totally fine with us bringing our luggage, and that set the mood with how incredible she was throughout our whole experience. We had such a blast! She was informative, casual & really knowledgeable about pierogis! She taught us her grandmothers recipe and let us put our own spin on it (I did a lentil filling with dill flavoured dough; my partner did a beef filling with a paprika flavoured dough). She taught us different techniques on how to fold the dough to give each dumpling its own personality. She taught us how to properly cook, store & recook for when we make them at home. And she also gave us a mini tasting of some local spirits (I forget what they’re called - but they were delicious and paired so nice with our pierogis)! 10/10 would recommend anyone to take this class.
