We will pick you up from your hotel and take by car to our place in Żoliborz district - an old and green area just 10 minutes from the centre. The qualified sommelier will do a short presentation about Polish wine history, winemaking regions and styles of wine. Then you will taste four Polish wines (sparkling, white, red and dessert) with various Polish homemade appetizers and titbits including a dessert.
Among others: homemade breads, herrings, typical salads, cold meats (roasted, cooked or cured), beetroot cold soup, or a hot dish if there's colder outside: żurek, bigos or dumplings, the selection of food depends on the season. For the dessert typical cakes: Polish cheesecake, seasonal fruitcakes, poppy seed cake or sękacz our typical sweet specialty made by a lady native from North East Poland.
After this Polish wine and food experience, on the way back to your hotel, we will do a tour by car to show you our favourite places in Warsaw, sharing our city and family stories so uprooted in this unique place.
