Description

During this 2.5-hour tour you’ll see the most important sights of Warsaw.

After meeting your guide at the Palace of Culture and Science, you’ll travel to the Łazienki Royal Park. You’ll find out when it was established and by whom, why it was a popular place to go on Thursdays in the 18th century and why you should bring nuts when you visit.

Walking through the park you’ll see a statue of Frédéric Chopin, the Palace on the Isle and an 18th-century amphitheatre. Afterwards, the Cucumber bus will pick you up and drive you to the Old Town, where you’ll see a city reconstructed from scratch.

Find out who the man on the column in Castle Square is. What the symbol of Warsaw is and why. Where to find the most romantic place in the city…

During the walk you’ll see the Castle Square with Sigismund’s Column, the Old Town Market Square, St- John’s Cathedral, the Mermaid of Warsaw and the Barbican.

You’ll then return to the Palace of Culture and Science to hear about its controversial history before finishing the tour.

This tour takes place every Saturday at 3:00 pm. The starting point is by the main entrance of the Palace of Culture and Science.
