Feel the spirit of communist Poland while cruising around Warsaw in the iconic automobile of the 70s and 80s – the Fiat 125p. You’ll be chauffeured by a professional driver-guide who’ll introduce you to the city’s communist past.
During the journey your guide will share entertaining facts about life under communism, how things have changed and what it means to be Polish today.
You’ll visit the Palace of Culture and Science – the hulking symbol of communist Warsaw – and learn about its construction, hear some anecdotes and discover why it’s called Stalin’s “gift”.
Afterwards, you’ll see Stalin-era architecture at the Constitution Square and visit a unique communist-era housing district. You’ll also see the amazing Ministry of Agriculture in the communist ministerial district, hear fascinating stories about the headquarters of the communist party and learn what it’s used for now.
Later on, you’ll get to have some pierogi or another meal at one of the city’s milk bars – communist-themed restaurants that serve traditional homemade cuisine.
During the journey, you’ll be treated to a shot of the best traditional vodka.
