I knew I could ride a bike, theoretically, but never actually used it to ride in a city.
What I noticed about Warsaw after spending a couple of days here is that it is a very friendly city for cyclists, safe and adapted for riding. This is why I decided to give it a try and had a very interesting tour across the historical part of the city.
The 3-hour tour will take you to the main landmarks and streets, through parks that have their own stories, to a place with popular cafes and to the bank of Wisła with a wonderful view. The pace of riding was quite easy for me as a beginner. The only hard part was to ride up the hill at the end of the tour, so I rode half the hill and went up by foot the other half. This tour was the highlight of my week in Warsaw, and I'm very glad I found it on this website.

Quick and fun way to tour the center of Warsaw

Great food tour in Krakow!
This food tour was definitely a highlight of my Krakow trip. It exposed me to different Polish dishes, from the traditional to the modern. It started off in Kazimierz and ended up in a neighborhood a little on the outskirts of the Planty. The tour guide Maurycy was very knowledgable and personable. He made the tour very enjoyable and provided a good insight into Polish culture as well. There is quite a bit of walking and towards the end the pacing of the restaurants are little rushed. The next restaurant was literally across the street so there was no time to digest the previous restaurant's food, but this is probably a minor critique to a great food tour.

First class service, food and drink throughout!
Really enjoyed this. We chose the Vodka tour as we have a mild interest in Vodka enough to warrant the tour.
We were lucky enough to meet Ania who we can't thank enough. It was myself and husband and we thought just the two of us on the tour along might make the evening conversation strained however Ania not only spent her time chatting about the various types of Vodka but also went into extensive detail on each meal that accompanied the Vodka and also gave us an insight into Polish life, family and traditions. We got so much out of the tour it acted nicely as a snippet of Poland in general.

The evening started in a traditional bar where we were served two shots and food. We then moved onto a really unusual shop / bar whereby there were over 60 types of flavoured Vodka to choose from and we were able to try a few. Favourite being Granny Vodka (cherry) and dare I say it Pepper flavoured. We fell in love with the concept of the store and it helped us appreciate the many types and traditions behind it. Next we went to another traditional bar and was served more food - enough to feel full! All traditional polish dishes. Finally we moved onto a similar concept to a Speakeasy bar that was very 'in fashion' and were treated to a choice of coctails to finish the night off.

In total we tried over eight different vodkas and five food types.

This for me was a highlight of the trip and is a must for anyone new to Poland wanting to experience the culture.

First class service, food and drink throughout!

Fun and Informative Craft Beer Tour
We toured the Krakow Craft Beer scene with Tomek and it was GREAT. Tomek knows way more about beer, craft beer, beer brewing, history of beer, than you can possibly imagine. Being a craft brewer himself, he has a true passion for the subject and truly enjoys sharing his knowledge with the novice tourist. He took my sister and I to very interesting places, with GREAT food and GREAT beer. He tuned in immediately to our beer preferences, and made sure we got acquainted with beers we could really enjoy. He is very pleasant and considerate guide and when offered many great recommendations for food and beer for the rest of our stay. Don't miss this tour!

Fun-Filled Vodka Tour
I had a great time on the Vodka Tour this week. Karol was an excellent guide, shared great information, interesting historical perspectives and many personal stories and experiences about Vodka. You can tell he loves what he does! I also loved the extra tidbits about the various restaurants we visited, the history and background! This made for a fabulous tour! I look forward to returning to Warsaw in November and booking this tour for our group who will be in town for a convention! Well done, Karol!
