Newseum is an interactive museum of news and journalism between the White House and the Capitol building. A pioneer in integrating new media and the interactive into museum experiences, the Newseum helps viewers think about the content of historic news, as well as the role of contemporary news in a cultural consciousness.
With 15 galleries and 15 theater spaces, the Newseum covers many important news events internationally and historically. One highlight is the "Today's Front Pages" Gallery, which boasts daily front pages from nearly 100 international newspapers. Another popular feature is Newseum's Berlin Wall gallery, which displays panels of the Berlin Wall.
The entrance price is steep, but the museum is quite novel.
