Rose's Luxury, in Capitol Hill, has taken DC by storm. The intimate, hip, farmhouse style dining experience is one to write home about. It feels both exclusive and like you're among family if you're lucky enough to snag a seat. They do not take reservations--even if you're looking for a during the week dinner, it's wise to arrive a bit before five.

Why you should visit it
The food and the service are insatiably noteworthy. Aaron Silverman is happy and he wants every person involved in the dining experience to feel the same way. The food is gorgeous, locally sourced, and complex. There's a rooftop garden for private parties, worth the splurge. There's camaraderie among the staff which makes diners feel right at home.
Special tip
Seriously, get there before five to wait for a table unless you're willing to eat dinner closer to 10pm!
