Why locals love it
The colourful roof shell of the music academy comes in every colour of the rainbow and is quite hard not to notice it. You can have coffee in front of the building and admire the view, and not just of the Academy, but of all the surrounding historical buildings, for example, the National Theatre.
Why you should visit it
If you like architecture, this is definitely a building you have to see. It is possible you won't love it because it does quite stand out from the surrounding ones, but I'm sure you will find it quite interesting. The building did cause a lot of discussions and still does.
Special tip
The monumental black structure in front of the entrance symbolizes a peristyle, and the 29meter pole and ball symbolize the masculine and the feminine
