When it first appeared, Booksa was quite a revolutionary concept, at least here in Zagreb, of a book reading club where you can also get a coffee or a drink. Combine that with book presentations, workshops, quizzes, concerts, festivals, all sorts of events, and you'll soon realize why this is a favorite literary meeting spot.

Visiting Booksa will introduce you to the literary ways of Zagrebers. What do they read, how do they think... it's a place where you can learn a lot about young local academic forces. They also have free WiFi. Together with the intellectual breeze, that makes it a great spot to check your inbox while enjoying affordable drinks.
You have to be a club member to enjoy your coffee over a book there, meaning you must pay a yearly membership fee of 10 HRK (less than 1,5 EUR).
